ICU Nurse – Expert 2217

Expert 2217 has been working in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) since 2006 and has held positions including clinical nurse manager, house supervisor, clinical coordinator of the ICU/CCU and since 2015 he has been a staff RN in the ICU.

He has experience being a part of the rapid response team and code blue team and in his current role, the primary patients he cares for includes: those requiring advanced neurological monitoring, post-cardiothoracic surgery, those requiring intensive respiratory interventions and monitoring for complications post organ transplant.

This expert is certified in Acute and Critical Care Nursing for Adults (CCRN) since 2010 and was awarded nurse of the year in 2007.

This expert has testified at deposition and can confidently opine on areas such as: ICU, telemetry, code blue and cardiac arrest protocols and standards, pacemakers, sepsis and shock, ventilator, pulmonary/arterial/venous thromboembolism, critical drug overdoses, severe metabolic disorders, post-op and advanced neuro monitoring.
